Simply beautiful. Encapsulates bali, ubud, traditional, spiritual and contemporary comfort.
The thai menu seemed very out of place. Stay Indonesian and Balinese.

The staff was very attentive to our needs. We were travelling for our anniversary and they prepared a lovely surprise cake for us on arrival! As well as little gifts during the rest of our stay! They respected our privacy and were not intrusive at all, unlike a lot of resorts we previously stayed at. The spa is very nice as well! We spent an entire afternoon there, it was heavily raining, but the layout of the spa made it such, that it was soooo relaxing and soothing to hear the rain fall instead of artificial "relaxing" music! The villa was amazing with a fine sized swimming pool (not just a big foottub...). Outdoor bathroom with a jungle feel, outdoor living room, and we had all the normal amenities, including mosquito repellent! The breakfast was served in our private villa. Good selection! The resort is quite big! We hardly ever bumped into our neighbours. Really didn't feel crowded for a public holiday weekend! We arranged a private tour to see the rice terrace, volcano and holy water temple and it was very fun and interesting!
